QSE Policy

Commitments for product quality :

FARE undertakes to comply with the standards to which all products are subject (NF, CE, BOSEC, ATEX, MARINE…..) by doing either 100% or by sampling:

• Entry controls,
• Electrical tests using in-house designed test benches,
• Functional tests,
• Controls at the end of production.

An environmental commitment :

FARE is committed to reducing the environmental footprint of its business through the following actions:

• Integration of the eco-design approach for all new products
• Use of recycled plastic materials
• Policy of purchasing ecological consumables and reducing single-use products
• Waste treatment partnership with approved sectors
• 80% energy self-sufficiency thanks to geothermal energy
• Implementation of eco-grazing since 2017
• Incentive for the use of electric vehicles through the installation of charging stations
• Annual ecomobility challenges to encourage employees to review their home-work travel patterns

Through investment :

FARE continuously invests in order to develop its skills and tools, and thus maintain a production made in France:

• Automated production line with five 6-axis robots
• Test laboratory for smoke detectors (smoke tunnels, ovens, spectroradiometer, etc.)

Through recruitment and training :

FARE regularly recruits technical profiles to expand its teams:

• Method or maintenance technicians, technicians,
• R&D engineers,
• Production operators,
• Automated line driver.

Through collaborative work at the purchasing level :

• Creation of a Purchasing collaborative circle within the DEF Network.
• Purchasing Charter with our suppliers and service providers in order to commit to a process of trust.
• Supplier audits to ensure the quality of manufacturing and improve customer-supplier relations.

For trainees and apprentices, the opportunities are real. The DEF Network attaches great importance to the transmission of information and supports students throughout their training period in the company, which can lead to recruitment.

FARE is involved in various social actions at the local level and for its employees:

• Support for the digital transition with the DIRECCTE and training of employees to become line drivers,
• Insertion of ESAT staff, and daily work with the CAT in Pithiviers,
• Break room: 80m² room fitted out allowing employees to exchange and share in a pleasant and relaxed setting,
• Blood donation: On the parking lot of the blood collection truck, to allow employees to make their contribution,
• The intention to make a Co-Working space : A manager’s room to improve communication and cooperation.
